Here goes!
Several friends and even colleagues have suggested I start to blog about my incredible journey into rock and rap music that began last summer, June 25, 2009 to be precise, the day that Michael Jackson died. I'm blogging on MySpace but I've decided that I need a wider platform than MySpace can provide. So here goes. I look forward to becoming a good blogger and to getting comments from readers too.

Glenda, I LOVE what you're doing here. Talk about a much needed breath of fresh air into the field of music education!! I'm reflecting how I might even have been interested in taking up an instrument had my teachers long ago had access to your curriculum. And how many kids NOW will get re-engaged in school with this curriculum in place. Kudos for this important contribution!
